This project proposes a fast and accurate estimation of channel availability using Hilbert transform and hybrid ML-MMSE equalizer. Large-scale multi-input, multi-output orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (MIMO-OFDM) systems for the uplink, an effective channel estimation method is used. Hilbert transform is a simple technique and using this the complexity of the overall process is minimized. An effective hybrid minimal mean square error (ML-MMSE) equalizer is utilized to estimate channel availability accurately. The proposed approach is evaluated using MATLAB simulation.
