A Systematic Study for Reducing Manufacturing Failures through Industry 4.0

Krishnamoorthy Selvaraj, Srinivasan Lakshmanan

Manufacturing failure is a technical process that is faced by the industry 4.0 as they have trans-formed their manufacturing process. In this study, literature review involves different signifi-cant factors of manufacturing failures, effective risks, and mitigation strategies are cortically discussed here. Research finding is mainly based on survey analysis from the respondents and hypothesis analysis with the help of the SPSS. Industry 4.0 is helping the managers and deter-mining the manufacturing process and the proper supply chain management for mitigating the issues related to manufacturing. Poor production processes or equipment as well as low-quality manufacturing parameters has been seen to cause issues in manufacturing. It can be assumed that all these above-discussed factors can help the 4.0 Industry’s manufacturers to increase their productivity, and quality control, to improve their product performance as well as profitability. Conclusion is based on the importance of Industry 4.0 for the development of the manufactur-ing sector.
