Abstract
Effective waste management is a critical component of environmental sustainability and public health protection. This paper investigates the systemic challenges and emerging opportunities in designing and implementing efficient waste management strategies. Emphasis is placed on source reduction, optimized collection and transportation, and the adoption of advanced processing and disposal technologies. A lifecycle approach is advocated to enhance material recovery through reuse and recycling, while ensuring the environmentally sound management of residual waste. The study underscores the role of public engagement, robust policy frameworks, and ongoing technological innovation in supporting the transition toward a circular economy.
