Abstract :
Battery management systems (BMS) play a vital role in enhancing the efficiency and reliability of microgrids, especially with increasing reliance on renewable energy sources. This paper presents an innovative approach to battery management in microgrids using LabView software. The proposed system monitors, controls, and optimizes battery performances within a microgrid environment. Experimental results demonstrate Lab View’s capability in real time data acquisition, charge/discharge control, and fault detection. This approach offers an adaptable and cost effective solution for efficient microgrid operation and implementations can expand this model’s scalability and interoperability within larger energy networks.
