Abstract :
This project proposed a proposal for the development of an IoT-based smart baby cradle designed to assist parents in monitoring and caring for their infants, whether they are at home or work. The objective is to create a secure and innovative cradle system that ensures the well-being of newborns. The proposed framework incorporates advanced technologies such as Internet of Things (IoT), Raspberry Pi modules, gas sensors, sound sensors, temperature sensors, cry detection mechanisms, camera surveillance, and more. To capture every movement of the baby, various sensors are integrated into the cradle. A gas and temperature sensing module is employed to detect any wetness in the cradle. Additionally, a camera is installed on the top of the cradle to provide live video footage, while a sound sensor analyzes cry patterns. All the data collected by these sensors is stored in a database and monitored at regular intervals. By leveraging the collected data and images, parents can have peace of mind knowing that they can ensure the safety and well-being of their babies from anywhere in the world at any given time.
