Abstract :

The Modern Mechanized Pepper Cleaning Machine project was designed to develop a cost effective, small scale solution for efficiently cleaning black pepper. Traditional manual methods of cleaning pepper involve labour intensive sorting and cleaning techniques, which are time consuming and inefficient. The proposed machine aims to automate the cleaning process by incorporating mechanical sieving and airflow based cleaning, thereby minimizing human labour, energy consumption, and time. This paper outlines the design, fabrication, testing, and results of the mechanized pepper cleaning machine, emphasizing its potential to enhance productivity for small scale farmers and processors.
